My family is really excited to take our pooch on an Amtrak Ride on the California Zephyr or Coast Starlight! Dogs are now welcome that are up to 20 pounds, on most routes! Dogs can ride for up to 7 hours on selected trains. They must be in a doggy carrier. Call agent for more information.
