Comfort Inn hotels are dog friendly!

Our dog loves the Comfort Inn in Auburn, CA.  The people staying there were so friendly to him, he got tons of pats and hugs!

Mo's "Gotcha Day" was last St. Patrick's Day, 2014!

I, doggy momma, have been sick as a dog this past week,  but it brings a big smile to my face to know that Mo's Gotcha Day is St. Patrick's Day of last year, 2013!  THis year, riends of Billy's invited us to the Dublin parade at 9:30AM this morning.  I doubt we will go, unless Billy wakes up super early!  Doggy Daddy is also sick so if he needs to sleep in, and william is up, we may take the trek to Dublin.  Last St. Patrick's Day, workers for the SPCA had told me they had taken Mo to the Dublin parade the day before, and he had done great will all the people, commotion, and noises.  They were right!!!  We have had Mo for a whole year now and he has been such an amazing dog!

Dublin's Lion's Club's 31st annual St. Patrick's Day Parade
starts at 9:30AM at Dublin Blvd. Some places to see the parade are on Amador Valley Blvd. or on the Village Parkway Grandstand at 7400 Amador Valley Blvd.

Otto Wolfgang gets saved by Leave No Paws Behind, which helps seniors keep their dogs

Today, my friend told me about a dog called Otto Wolfgang whose owners couldn't afford to pay their dog's medical bills, or even for euthanasia, so had to leave their dogs tied about an animal rescue organization.   The nonprofit Leave No Paws Behind, are reuniting the owners with their pet!

I was surprised to also discover that 13% of dogs are relinquished by owners because of financial hardship.  Billy and I keep canned dog food and treats in our car to give to homeless dogs in the Berkeley/Oakland area, which is a much more common sight than people in the suburbs would believe.  I have a friend, Gabriella, who passed away this past month, we are going to give $100. to the Leave No Paws Behind, Inc.  It is an all breed, all foster based rescue center that specializes in seniors.

Where's Mo??

One early morning, I woke up and could not find Mo.

"Where's Mo?"

"Isn't he on the bed?"

"Let me look again..."

After moving the blanket, here's what I found:
