Doggy in the Tent: Casini Ranch Campground, Monte Rio, CA

This campground along the Russian River gets really crowded on the 4th of July weekend, but they are very dog friendly!  We knew the  fireworks downtown would really upset our pooch, so we planned ahead and took a drive away from the fireworks and we put up our windows.  Dogs hate fireworks, and they are dangerous because some dogs will run away just to get away from the noise.

Los Altos Art and Wine Festival

When I was walking my dog around the Los Altos Art and Wine Festival, there were plenty of dogs walking and hanging out with their human at the festival.  Yet, when I was reading the festival brochure, they do not encourage dogs.

Doggy seemed to enjoy the festival.  It was a warm day, so I think he would have preferred taking a nap in bed, but he enjoyed getting lots of pets and seeing his human nanna and papa.

Our new pre-mix homemade dog food- Dr. Harvey's Canine Health

I love making homemade dog food as there is so much less waste!  We are using Dr. Harvey's Canine Health pre-mix dog food this summer at least a few times a week.  All we do is mix it with hot water, some olive oil, and protein.  Mojo loved it!

Happy 4th Of July! Half Moon Bay, CA

Dogs love Half Moon Bay, our pooch goes crazy there!  We have not brought our dog to Half Moon bay for 4th of July and we haven't stayed at a dog friendly hotel here yet, but I have heard great things about the Half Moon Bay Inn on Main Street.  There is a dog friendly fee of $25.00 at this hotel.  The town is super dog friendly too, with outdoor dining options.  We love the local dog friendly beaches.
