The author, Danielle Steel lives between Paris and San Franisco with her miniature chihuahua, Minnie. Steel has a new children's book, "Pretty Minnie in Paris (Doubleday, $18.00) and follows a mischievous pooch and her darling mistress through the colorful world of Parisian fashion. The illustrator, Kristi Valiant's, cheerful pictures capture their shared love of dressing up, wearing stilettos, and sightseeing in the city of lights.
