I always want to take my pets somewhere special for 4th of July, such as outdoor events and bbq’s. Yet, I know the sound of fireworks can cause intense fear responses in animals. Lost pet reports spike around July 4-5, and some even end up in shelters. Sometimes we like to go somewhere woodsy where fireworks aren’t aloud!
