Doggy's book recommendation for Mother's Day 2015 - Shoot For The Moon, By Corinne Humphrey

I have officially started a doggy book collection, one book we read tonight is Shoot For the Moon, Lessons on Life From a Dog Named Rudy, by Corinne Humphrey.  Some of Rudy's advice:

You can create the life you want!
(adorable picture of a dog painting!)

Find a hero!

S-T-R-E-T-C-H Yourself!

Take a leap!

Shoot for the moon!

Don't be afraid of your shadow!

Find a balance!

Just roll with it!

You will find happiness wherever you are!

In 2005, the author, Corrine Humphrey, left a 25 year career an an international flight attendant to find a more creative and balanced life.  She wanted to start painting and get a dog.  She found her dog, Rudy, at the Friends of Animals Utah adoption Center.  Rudy was skinny, scarred, and becoming kennel aggressive after 3 years of bouncing in and out of shelters.  Yet, Rudy called to  Corrine and since then she has been painting Rudy!  Most of her paintings evolve from the positive messages and lessons she has learned from Rudy.
