Below are a few places I want to check in the Sacramento area. As a word of caution, I haven't been to any of them. Plus, they are very expensive. I love looking at extravagant pet supplies, though, even though I prefer my doggy supplies to be more simple and less extravagant MOST of the time.
1. Karma Collars
This pet accessories place looks like a gallery. They carry a wide assortment of artisan leather goods for dogs and dog owners. The goods are handmade in the store. The high-end, highly durable collars ($35.-$150) and leashes ($38.-$70.) feature brass studs, Swarovski crystals and custom nameplates

2. Paws And The Palette
The owner, Lisa Spurney, makes most of this store bakery's vegan dog treats: cookies, cupcakes, and cakes that supposedly look so good, even humans will want a taste. I haven't been to this place yet, so I'm not so sure about that claim!
This shop is involved in lots of local charities, including Pets of the Homeless and Front Street Animal Shelter.
The shop dog is named Ladybug, a 13 year old Basset Hound.
This shop has Bow Wow Bind (wearable crystals for dogs,) necktie collars, Bowser Beer, and even bathrobes.
Bonus: Bring in a bath of dogwood, and get a $10.00 bag of dog treats for your donation.
