Lunar Year Celebration at Bay Street in Emeryville, CA was dog friendly!

Last night we went to a Lunar Year celebration at Bay Street in Emeryville, CA.  There were lion dancers, vendors, and crafts for children!  We didn't bring our pooch as we didn't know if it would be dog friendly, but it was!   Dogs who are comfortable with crowds, noise, and costumes would be fine.

Here is a friendly pooch we met at the celebration!  Next year we'll bring our dog!

Recommended hike with pooch in Monterey Peninsula- Badger Hills Trailhead at Fort Ord, Salinas, CA

Our doggy's friend, Coach, told us about a fun trailhead for pooches and their families at Fort Ord National Monument.  We haven't tried it out yet, but are looking forward to it!

Our doggy met a friend, Coach, whose parents recommended Monterey Pet Care, a professional pet sitting and dog walking place in Monterey, CA.  

Though many hotels and restaurants are dog friendly, other places such as the Monterey Bay aquarium, are not!  We haven't tried this place yet, but it is great to know resources in different cities!

We took our doggy to Plank in Jack London Square this week.  He loved it and enjoyed watching the bocce ball and having part of a chicken wing.  They brought him a huge bowl of water too!
